The driver's best result of the year so far.

Prema Racing and Williams Academy driver Oleksandr Bondarev has scored his first Formula 4 points. The driver finished 11th in the third race of the F4 Middle East round in Abu Dhabi.

How Oleksandr Bondarev Fared at the F4 Middle East Round in Abu Dhabi

  • The race took place at the Yas Marina circuit in the UAE capital. The 15-year-old driver finished the opening qualifying sessions 17th and 19th on the track.
  • In the very first race, Oleksandr managed to climb to 16th, though that still wasn't enough to score points — only the top 12 cars finish in the points.
  • Oleksandr didn't finish the second race on the track — on the ninth minute, he was involved in a crash with another car that was exiting the pit lane and collided with Bondarev's.
  • The third race in Abu Dhabi was the last chance to break into the top 12, and the Ukrainian finished it in 11th place. He trailed the winner, Emanuele Olivieri of Italy, by 0.852 seconds.

The next races featuring Oleksandr take place January 22 and 23 at the same Abu Dhabi circuit.
