How Oleksandr Bondarev Fared at the Second E4 Championship Round
- In free practice in Mugello, Bondarev posted the 15th- and 33rd-fastest times. In qualifying, meanwhile, the Ukrainian finished 10th and 14th.
- On the formation lap of the first race, one of the drivers failed to start, so Oleksandr began the race from ninth. Under safety car conditions, Bondarev dropped to 10th, but near the end of the race, Newman Chi and Reno Francot collided. The incident allowed the Ukrainian to move up two spots.
As a result, in the round's first race, the Williams Academy member finished eighth overall and fourth among rookies.
- Starting 14th in the second race, Bondarev gained a position right at the start, then climbed another spot a few laps later. Closer to the finish, Oleksandr closed in on the driver ahead of him but couldn't complete the pass.
As a result, the Ukrainian finished 12th, then moved up to 11th after the race due to a rival's penalty. Among rookies, the Prema Racing driver again finished just short of the podium.
- Bondarev started the final race from 19th. After a few laps, when one of his rivals retired, the Ukrainian moved up to 18th. He then lost a position but managed to win it back. In the end, Bondarev finished the race 18th and seventh among rookies.
