Oleksandr Bondarev Wraps Up His F4 Middle East Season: The Ukrainian's Results

Prema Racing driver Oleksandr Bondarev finished third in the rookie standings.

Williams Academy driver Oleksandr Bondarev completed the final race of the 2025 F4 Middle East season, held February 28 at the Lusail circuit in Qatar. The driver finished 12th in the overall drivers' standings and third among rookies.

In September 2023, Bondarev joined the Williams Academy, becoming the first Ukrainian in history to sign a contract with a Formula 1 team. The Prema Racing driver's debut races came in the final two rounds of the 2024 Italian F4 season. From February 18, 2025, Oleksandr competed in F4 Middle East.

• The Ukrainian finished the first round's two races at Abu Dhabi's Yas Marina circuit outside the points — 16th and a retirement, respectively. In the round's third race, however, Bondarev finished 11th. With that, Oleksandr scored his first two points in the series.

• The tournament's second round, held January 22–23 at the same circuit, began with a podium finish for the Ukrainian: he finished first among the season's rookies and eighth overall. He then closed out the next race seventh, matching his rookie record and reaching the podium again.

• In the first and third races of the third round, again held in the UAE capital, the Ukrainian finished sixth — his best result of the season. The series' fourth round, in Qatar, brought no new records for Bondarev, who finished 13th, 11th, and 22nd.

• In the end, Oleksandr Bondarev finished the F4 Middle East season 12th in the overall drivers' standings and third among rookies.
