Oleksandr Bondarev Closes Out His 2025 Formula 4 Season With a Podium in the Final Race: Championship Recap
The Ukrainian finished in the top three of the season's rookie standings.
Oleksandr Bondarev finished his first full Italian Formula 4 season third among rookies. The Ukrainian scored 222 points, pulling away from his closest rival, Artem Severiukhin, in the final race. In the overall standings, meanwhile, the Ukrainian finished 10th with 89 points.
The final round of the fourth-tier open-wheel series took place October 10–12 in Misano — the same track where the championship began back in spring. The round also featured a race rescheduled after a major crash at the start of the Imola round.

How Oleksandr Bondarev Fared at the Seventh Italian F4 Round in Misano
- In free practice, Oleksandr posted the eighth- and ninth-fastest times. In qualifying, the Ukrainian finished fifth, landing in Group C — one of three groups the drivers were split into for the round's group races.
- In the first race, Bondarev started sixth but lost two positions right after the start. Fighting back, Oleksandr regained them, finishing sixth — right where he started.
- The Ukrainian started the second race from the same sixth position. Taking advantage of a battle ahead of him, Bondarev finished just short of the podium — fourth.
- The finale went worse for the Prema Racing driver: starting eighth, Oleksandr dropped to 11th right at the start. Dante Vinci then hit him from behind, costing Bondarev a wing; he pitted and ultimately dropped to 29th.
- In the race rescheduled from Imola, Oleksandr started second but lost the position to championship leader Kean Nakamura-Berta on the very first lap. The Ukrainian then spent the rest of the race defending third place against Newman Chi, while also trying to close the gap to leaders Nakamura-Berta and Gomez.
Holding onto third place until the end, Bondarev finished third, for the second time this season climbing onto the overall podium and claiming his fourth rookie win.
