Oleksandr Bondarev — E4 Championship Rookie Standings Leader: Round Recap
The Ukrainian finished first among rookies in all three races.
In parallel with Italian Formula 4, Oleksandr Bondarev is competing in the E4 Championship. At the first round, held July 18–20 at the Paul Ricard circuit in France, the Ukrainian finished on the rookie podium in every race.

How Oleksandr Bondarev Fared at the First E4 Championship Round
- In practice, Oleksandr finished sixth and fifth, respectively. In qualifying, Bondarev qualified fourth for the first race and rounded out the top five for the second.
- During Saturday's opening race, the Prema Racing driver lost a position at the start and held off Reno Francot for most of the race, but the Dutch driver got past him near the end. As a result, Oleksandr Bondarev finished sixth overall and first among rookies.
- The Ukrainian started the second race fifth and held the position for most of the race, but lost three spots near the end, finishing eighth. However, Alex Powell received a five-second penalty for passing Oleksandr off the track, so Bondarev moved up one position after the race. Among rookies, this was still his best result of the round.
- At the start of the final race, the Ukrainian passed Maksimilian Popov, but lost three positions over the course of the race, ultimately finishing seventh. Bondarev finished this race first among rookies as well.
For the round, Bondarev scored 18 points and holds provisional seventh place in the drivers' standings. Among rookies, meanwhile, Oleksandr is the leader.
