Team Ukraine Competes in the Junior Men's (U21) Relay at the 2026 Junior World Biathlon Championships: Results
The Ukrainians were lapped in the final leg.
Team Ukraine finished 19th in the junior men's (U21) relay at the 2026 Junior World Biathlon Championships, held in Arber, Germany. The national team was represented by Dmytro Kriukov, Kostiantyn Martseniuk, Ivan Steblyna, and Kyrylo Kulchytskyi.
Earlier, in the youth (junior men's) relay, Team Ukraine finished eighth, while in the junior women's (U21) mass start, Oleksandra Merkushyna won Ukraine's first gold of the 2026 Junior World Biathlon Championships.

How Ukraine's Team Fared in the U21 Relay at the 2026 Junior World Biathlon Championships
- Dmytro Kriukov was the first Ukrainian on course. He used two spare rounds at the prone stage, then shot clean from standing, sitting in provisional 16th. Dmytro handed off the relay in 18th.
- Kostiantyn Martseniuk dropped to 20th with a penalty lap after the first stage. Shooting clean from standing, the Ukrainian closed out his leg and handed off the relay in 19th.
- Ivan Steblyna, with one spare round at the prone stage, managed to move the team up one position. But at the second stage, he picked up another penalty and finished his leg in 18th.
- Kyrylo Kulchytskyi was the last Ukrainian on course. The biathlete arrived at the first shooting stage in 17th, missed two targets, and skied a penalty lap. Team Ukraine finished the relay 19th out of 20 teams.

On the final competition day of the 2026 Junior World Biathlon Championships, the junior women's and youth women's relays are up. The races start at 11:30 and 15:30, respectively.
